Scope of Work: In 2018, ICS & ICS Thailand (ICST) were selected by PTT Gas to upgrade their Air Cooled Heat Exchangers (ACHE) by a guaranteed minimum of 15% increased airflow. Also, associated static pressure and thermal performance guarantees were included in the tender. ICS and ICST’s Air Cooler thermal and airflow upgrades were successful. For this project, ICS & ICST selected Hudson fans for the best performance and reliability over the life of the project. PTT had previously upgraded from the factory original Moore fans to a new Cofimco Tandem aluminum fan which simply failed to give the performance PTT required. ICS & ICST were able to analyze the situation from the original fans to the Cofimco fans & knew how to best meet and exceed PTT’s expectations.
